Usage Tips

It's recommended to add a category for each author listed; for example, if Bess of Hardwick and John Dee are the authors, please add categories to the page "Products authored by Bess of Hardwick" and "Products authored by John Dee." Remember that categories should be surrounded by "noinclude" tags.

Template Parameters

Infobox properties

name Name of the product, defaults to the name of the page where the template appears.

image Optional; file name of the product image. Should be no more than 300 px wide.

caption Optional; Caption to place under the image

authors Names of the authors, in the order they appear on the cover

cover_illustrator Optional

illustrators Optional, listed in the order they appear in the credits

art director Optional. If there is more than one, separate by commas.

editor Optional

layout Optional

Publication Information =

publisher Defaults to Shewstone Publishing LLC

publication_date Optional

publication_status Free text but please use one of the values "To be published," "Available," or "Out of print as of (date)." Defaults to "Available"

ebook_ISBN Optional. ISBN for the PDF or other electronic form of the product. If there is more than one ebook format such as PDF and EPUB, list the formats and ISBNs in comma-separated pairs, such as "PDF 123-456-7890, EPUB 234-567-8901"

print ISBB Optional. ISBN for the print-on-demand or offset printed edition of the book. If there is more than one print format, list the formats and ISBNs in comma-separated pairs.

page_count Optional; only makes sense for print and PDF formats

trim_size Optional; this is publishers' jargon for the size of the pages

binding_type Optional; "Softcover" or "Hardcover" is sufficient. We don't need to get more technical than that.
